Man-Made Marvels - Korea Train Express (KTX)
South Korea needed a network - to bridge these huge geographic boundaries, and physically bring the nation together. The challenge was laying 412 kilometres of railway, constructing 51 new tunnels through 190 kilometres of undulating mountainside, and raising 104 bridges over South Korea's numerous rivers. There was only one solution - more ambitious, more demanding and more risky than any engineering project ever undertaken in Korea - the Korea Train Express (KTX).
Mediafreaks produced a series of 3D and 2D animated CG sequences showcasing the subject of the episode for this joint production between Beach House Pictures and NHNZ.
