Man-Made Marvels - Petronas Towers

The Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, were the world's tallest towers from 1998 to 2004, if measured from the level of the main entrance to the structural top. The story follows the building of Petronas Towers, from its early inception in 1998 to completion in 2004 and the route to become the tallest buildings in the world on the date of completion. The 88-floor towers are constructed largely of reinforced concrete, with a steel and glass facade designed to resemble motifs found in Islamic art, a reflection of Malaysia's Muslim religion.

Mediafreaks produced a series of 3D and 2D animated CG sequences showcasing the subject of the episode for this joint production between Beach House Pictures and NHNZ.
