Meet the new mascots for Western Digital’s Blue, Green and Black hard drive series – Brent, Gus and Blake – three robotic dudes armed with the mission to educate consumers in making the right choices when purchasing hard drives.

Some time ago, Western Digital came up with the Blue, Green and Black internal hard drive series, designed to help consumers make better informed choices in selecting their digital storage solutions. They were faceless until MediaFreaks came along and helped Western Digital put handsome mugs and personalities to these hard drives in the form of Brent, Gus and Blake. We were also engaged to plan a series of digital marketing campaigns evolving around them for Western Digital.

Brent, Gus and Blake are now the official mascots for Western Digital and have their own wacky mini cartoon series to boot! (YES, we produced these!)

MediaFreaks also planned and rolled out a series of viral online contests, attracting more than 73,000 participants from South East Asia.
